Description

In a nutshell

Today’s fast-changing business environment requires leaders to take a nimble and situational approach to whatever is arising in their team, organisation, and environment.

Situational leadership emphasises the importance of flexibility, adaptability, collaboration, and data-driven decision making, and recognises that effective leadership involves constantly adjusting to the needs of the team and the situation.

Matching challenge to skill and trust to autonomy are critical factors that enable individuals and teams to access peak performance. By providing the right level of challenge and trusting individuals and teams to work autonomously, leaders can create an environment that fosters motivation, confidence, learning, innovation, collaboration, and ultimately, peak performance.

In this 3 hr session we will:
  • Move from problem focus to solution focus
  • Explore how to adapt your leadership style to each unique situation or task to meet the needs of your team
  • Realise the need to match challenge to skill, and trust to autonomy to allow teams and individuals to access peak performance
What impact can this have for our team
  • Escape apathy or anxiety
  • Grow and develop with appropriate challenge and autonomy
