DETAILS
Welcome to our Experimentation Bootcamp!
This will be is a high-energy, interactive and hands-on workshop, designed to help you unlock the power of small, incremental changes that lead to big impact.
Over the course of the morning, we’ll explore three areas:
1) What is behavioural experimentation?
We’ll unpack what experimentation really means (hint: it’s not just for scientists or startups). You’ll learn when and why to experiment and how this fits into everyday work.
2) Mindsets & behaviours that support it
Experimentation isn’t just a process; it’s a way of thinking. We’ll explore the mindsets and behaviours that help experimentation thrive: curiosity, comfort with uncertainty and a bias toward action. You’ll also reflect on your own habits and discuss how to build a culture of learning; not perfection
3) Try it out!
You’ll roll up your sleeves and practice designing an experiment. Through guided exercises and small group collaboration, you’ll design a simple, low-risk experiment tailored to your real-world context. Something you can take away and start testing the very next day.
Our Experimentation Bootcamp will leave you inspired, equipped, and ready to try a different approach.
We are not alone in our belief that experiments and an experimental mindset are a clear driver of improved business performance. Stefan Thomke has been studying organisations with a strong experimentation culture for over a decade. In his recent book, he asks: “Given the demonstrable value that experimentation can generate, why aren’t more companies adopting and cultivating an experimentation-centric culture?”
Whether you’re navigating a complex issue, implementing or preparing for change, or simply curious enough to try something different, experimentation is a skillset and a mindset that is an imperative in today’s world of work.
