DETAILS
In a world that refuses to stand still, a leader’s ability to lead change is the critical difference between stagnation and growth.
But today, fewer than 1 in 3 change initiatives achieve their goals.
So what do the most effective change leaders do differently to overcome resistance and build the capacity for change in their teams?
Building on the practice of ‘adaptive leadership’ introduced by Heifetz, Linsky and Grashow, we explore the 5 critical focus areas for leaders to involve and energise their teams, proven to transform change resilience – resulting in a 3x greater success rate for leading change.
Whether you are implementing a new strategy, rolling out a new operating model, re-structuring the workforce, or driving culture change – this is the perfect primer for anyone who feels stuck leading change, or knows there is more potential waiting to be unlocked.
Whether you’re a seasoned executive or an emerging leader, you’ll leave armed with practical, cutting edge tools and network of peers committed to leading change – faster than the world around them.
In this session, we will:
- Explore the 5 key focus areas for a change leader and how they differ from day to day management
- Explore change from the perspective of stakeholders and identify sources of resistance
- Share techniques for engaging teams, increasing their tolerance for discomfort and building change resilience
