Context
The Guardian have been successful in continuing to disrupt and innovate in a highly challenging sector. To support the new strategic plan established in 2019, a key part of the learning agenda is supporting top management to develop their capacities as leaders and meet the challenges they face in a fast-changing media landscape. In particular, leaders need to define their own and the company’s purpose and be able to lead authentically.
Solution The L&D team identified high performing senior leaders across the business where they felt leadership coaching could support individuals and business growth. T– carried out individual needs analysis, matching leaders with carefully selected coaches from our exceptional network.
Result T– provided a highly-targeted, flexible, scalable approach to meet the individual and team requirements of a globally-distributed leadership team. Providing a mixture of one-to-one, team coaching and specialised interventions (including dispute resolution), underpinned with a framework to measure individual outcomes, business impact and ROI.
